OPERATION AOY - LAUNCHED!

Thank you all who have cared enough to make it this far and to follow this amazing project from the beginning to the end.

If you haven't already managed to grasp the gist of what we are going to accomplish here, let me give you a brief synopsis.

Aoy Lachapel is the owner of The Rice Paddy of Marquette; a place where she feeds those who are short a dollar, and is not shy about giving advice that needs to be heard. Each and every dollar of gratuity that Aoy collects in the course of a year is donated to poverty stricken children in her previous hometown outside of Bangkok Thailand.

"We had to share almost everything at home and at school, even books," Aoy said. "Sometimes, there would be only one book for the entire class. I want to help give these kids a better childhood."

With the donated funds she purchases shoes, clothing, books, computers, and a year supply of food for the children. She is greeted with tears, open arms, and smiles that could brighten up the darkest sky.

Aoy has been making this trip for the last 16 years and we at CK Unlimited Photography and the community of Marquette, Michigan; have decided to finally document such an amazing feat of human kindness in all it's entirety.

My head photographer and I will be following Aoy and her husband Greg Trick the entire way of this amazing journey. All of the joy and inspiration that Aoy's amazing deed brings to this world will finally be captured and shown to the world.

With the photos that will be taken, we will be constructing a forty page photo book that will be distributed and sold in The Rice Paddy and all of the local bookstores. Each and every dollar from the proceeds of the books will be donated to the children for many years to come.

With the always evolving technology and sincere evolution in regards to the kindness of the human spirit; there is now a way for everyone and their brother to donate effortlessly to causes like this. Please show your support by donating whatever you can to this amazing project at this website here. It takes 5 minutes of your time, and will echo an eternity.

Thank you so very much, and bless you all,
